General Terms and Conditions of Participation for Prize Draws by Trends & Lifestyle Deutschland GmbH

These terms and conditions apply to all prize draws we conduct via Facebook (www.facebook.com/trendsandlifestyledeutschlandgmbh), Instagram (www.instagram.com/trends_and_lifestyle_), and TikTok (www.tiktok.com/@trendsandlifestyle). Consequently, we—Trends & Lifestyle Deutschland GmbH—only collect the profile name. The prize draws conducted via our social media profiles are in no way affiliated with Facebook, Inc./Facebook Ireland Ltd., Instagram, or TikTok. The prize draws are not sponsored, endorsed, or organized by Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok in any way, and they give rise to no legal claims against Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.

ELIGIBILITY/PARTICIPATION

By participating in the prize draw, the Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok user expressly acknowledges these general terms and conditions of participation. The minimum age for participation is 18 years. Employees of Trends & Lifestyle Deutschland GmbH and its affiliated companies, as well as employees of partners involved in the prize draw, are excluded from participation. The same applies to their relatives or domestic partners. Participation is only possible via a personal Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok login (using one's own Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok account). If we become aware of technical manipulation or any other violation of these terms and conditions, we will exclude the participant from the prize draw. Technical manipulation includes, among other things, participation via a prize draw service or similar automated bulk entry services.

In such cases, the prize may be revoked retroactively, and a substitute winner selected.
The contest begins at the time of publication on our Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok page. Participation is only possible until the specified time of the draw.

PRIZES/SELECTION OF WINNERS

The prize is specified in the respective contest post. Cash payment of the prize value or exchange of the prize is excluded. The prize is non-transferable. Winners are selected at random.
Winners are determined immediately after the contest ends and notified via Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.
As a rule, we deliver the prize by mail or email. Upon notification, the winner must therefore provide their full contact details, including a postal address and email address. If the prize is to be collected in person rather than delivered, this will be explicitly stated in the post.
If the prize is not redeemed or claimed within one year, the claim to the prize expires, and no further claims may be made.

LIABILITY

Where the prize involves offers from third parties, Trends & Lifestyle Deutschland GmbH, as the contest organizer, is not liable for non-performance or defective performance regarding the prizes offered, nor for any damages the winner may suffer while availing themselves of the prize. Trends & Lifestyle Deutschland GmbH is not liable for technical malfunctions, data loss, or transmission errors that prevent participation in the contest.

DATA PROTECTION

Personal data concerning the winner and any accompanying persons is collected as part of the contest. We require this data to administer the contest. For this purpose, the relevant individuals' names (first and last), postal addresses, and email addresses are collected, stored, and used. In the event of a win, Trends & Lifestyle Deutschland GmbH, as the organizer, is also entitled to publish the winner's name and their Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok profile picture. By participating in our Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok giveaways, each participant also agrees to our privacy policy.
